About us
The Derbyshire Academy was established in 2023. It aims to address the workforce challenges across Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care System by developing coordinated and innovative solutions to grow the future health and social care workforce.
The Academy is a collaboration between healthcare partner organisations across the Derby and Derbyshire area, providing joined up employment, training and development opportunities for potential and existing staff across all professions.
The Academy is part of the Joined up Care Derbyshire Integrated Care System, which coordinates health and social care across Derby and Derbyshire. Partner organisations include:

There are many operations to the Derbyshire Academy, with nine faculties all working in conjunction to provide career opportunities, professional education and guidance for the Derby and Derbyshire health and social care services.
