Unlocking New Possibilities event confirmed for 2024
The Careers Team at Joined Up Care Derbyshire, along with partner organisations, is staging a second ‘Unlocking New Possibilities’ event at Chesterfield College on Thursday 11 July 2024, following on from last year’s debut event.
The main focus of the event is to improve diversity and inclusion within the workforce and to unlock the potential within our local communities.
The event is again organised on behalf of Derbyshire BME Forum by a partnership involving Joined Up Careers, Derbyshire County Council, Links CVS, Department for Work and Pensions and East Midlands Chamber.
At the event there will be dedicated areas for both employers and providers offering training and support, with capacity for up to 70 organisations. There will also be a break-out area for families with children, two rooms allocated on the first floor of the college for talks and presentations, and a choice of hot food, snacks and refreshments provided by small local companies throughout the day.
The main event will run from 11am to 2pm.
Organisations wishing to attend can complete a form.
