Training programme for AHP Support Workers
Expressions of Interest are now open for the second cohort of the AHP Support Worker Higher Development Award (HDA) programme delivered by Derby College.
The HDA is a personal and professional development programme that equips clinical and non-clinical staff to enhance their skills, techniques and knowledge to improve their personal confidence and capability.
It results in the Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Team Leading alongside the HDA qualification and any functional skills qualifications that are needed.
It includes seven days’ face-to-face classroom sessions at Ilkeston Campus, six half-day interactive online sessions and two supporting study days. It is delivered over a six-month period for cohorts of 10-15 learners.

The programme will begin on Wednesday 12 March 2025.
