Opportunities for Foundation Trainee Pharmacists

A new resource for people considering becoming Foundation Trainee Pharmacists (FTPs) is now available on the Careers Team website.

The resource explains why FTPs should consider Derby and Derbyshire as the place to progress their careers.

With a wide range of clinical settings, experienced teams and a strong focus on professional development, there are many opportunities to carry out a placement that helps shape confident, capable pharmacists.

Opportunities include secondary care settings (such as hospitals), community pharmacy, primary care settings (including GP/PCN/ICB) or the independent sector (such as DHU Healthcare).

There is information available on placements within the NHS and in allied organisations, including Boots, Imaan Healthcare, Peak Pharmacy and Rowlands Pharmacy.
