Art competition winners announced
The talented winners of our art competition have been announced following our request to young artists to showcase the wonder of health and care.
The competition followed the Careers Team at Joined Up Care Derbyshire inaugural art competition which was set up during the Covid-19 pandemic in order for young artists to demonstrate their skills and celebrate the work of health and care workers.
This year’s top three were picked by our judges as:
- First prize: Annabelle Hopkins, age 12
- Second prize: Mia Cheung, age 11
- Third prize: Riley Woolley, age 8
Our top three all picked up a prize and were given a certificate to mark their brilliant efforts.
The judges told Annabelle: “You have really impressed us with the idea of a heart in the centre with the slogan ‘care for young and old’, surrounded by meaningful speech bubbles amongst a jigsaw pattern, which seem to symbolise the many connections in health and social care”.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time and trouble to take part – the entries were all fabulous and we greatly enjoyed looking at them.
