Apprentice Awards
Caroline Wade MBE, JUCD Apprenticeship Strategy Group Chair and Executive Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development – Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust says:
“Today, we are proud to launch our Joined Up Care Derbyshire Apprentice Awards, a celebration of the exceptional talent, commitment and potential within our health and social care workforce. Apprenticeships play a vital role in helping us grow, develop and strengthen our workforce across the Integrated Care System, and these awards recognise the individuals and teams who embody the very best of what apprenticeships offer.
Apprenticeships open doors to opportunity, they provide accessible routes into the sector, support career progression, and ensure we continue to build a skilled, diverse and resilient workforce for the future. By learning on the job, our apprentices bring fresh perspectives, real dedication and a powerful drive to make a difference for the people we serve.
These awards acknowledge not only the remarkable achievements of our apprentices, but also the mentors, managers and teams who support them. Their guidance, encouragement and belief help our apprentices thrive and ensure we maintain the highest standards of care and professionalism.
As we launch these awards, we celebrate the positive impact apprenticeships have across our system, strengthening our services today and shaping our workforce for tomorrow. We look forward to shining a spotlight on the outstanding contributions made by our apprentices and recognising the difference they make every day.”
