Care assistant (care homes): Take care of residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing. Assist with meal times, personal care, leisure activities and much more. Full and part time opportunities, in various care homes.
Care workers: Look after people in a care home/centre or in their own homes (transport required to travel to people’s homes). Employed by Derby City Council or Derbyshire County Council, various hours available. A rewarding role where you can make a difference – helping someone feel cared for, safe and happy!
Community response support workers: Support people on a short-term basis in their own home following discharge from hospital. Employed by the NHS, full or part time roles available. NVQ/BTEC in health and social care and access to transport required.
Domiciliary care/support workers: Support people in their own home with personal care, medication, meals, brightening their day! Full and part time roles available, employed by various different private/independent employers. Training is provided, you just need to have the passion and desire to care. Access to transport is required.
