Higher Development Awards open for applications
Applications are now being invited from Allied Health Professional (AHP) Support Workers who wish to gain a Higher Development Award.
The Award is a personal development programme that enables clinical and non-clinical Support Workers from all sectors to ‘be the best and acknowledge potential’.
The scheme is being run by the Derbyshire AHP Faculty in association with workforce and careers colleagues at Joined Up Care Derbyshire.
Completion of the award leads to gaining the L2 Certificate in Team Leading qualification. Content covers a range of topics including how to develop working relationships with colleagues, understanding health and safety procedures in the workplace and understanding how to develop and deliver a presentation.
Online entry for applications is open until 10 May 2024.
