The NQN System Rotations programme is an innovative recruitment project supported by Health Education England (HEE), Joined Up Care Derbyshire (JUCD) and the University of Derby. It has been designed by a dedicated project team, incorporating the feedback of current student nurses.

Each rotational pathway will consist of three rotational workplaces for a duration of approximately six months, including, but not limited to: community nursing, community hospitals, hospice care, acute hospitals, wound clinics and urgent treatment centres. Newly Qualified Nurses will remain on the rotational programme for the duration of the 18 months, after which they will be ensured a band five role across JUCD.

The supportive programme includes access to a Clinical Practice Facilitator and the Derbyshire Community Health Services preceptorship programme, as well as additional leadership and development workshops.
